I learned to meditate when I was 18.
It was a difficult time in my life—maybe one of the hardest. I’d just survived a tragic accident that claimed the lives of seven of my friends. I’d started college, but I was completely lost. I couldn’t focus. My grades were slipping. I felt anxious all the time and couldn’t see a way forward.
Then I was taught a simple mantra meditation based on my Vedic Moon sign. I committed to doing it daily for 21 days. What happened changed everything.
Within the first week, I felt a quiet center open up inside me. My thoughts slowed down. My breath softened. And for the first time in a long time, I felt like… I could see clearly again. Life didn’t magically fix itself—but something in me shifted.
I went from struggling to focus to becoming someone who could think clearly, retain information, and actually feel motivated again. My grades improved. I started getting A’s. And eventually, I earned a doctorate.
But more than that—my confidence came back. I began to trust my intuition. I could see the direction my life wanted to take.

I still meditate every morning and evening. It’s my foundation. It’s the reason I’ve been able to do the work I do today—guiding others with clarity, purpose, and trust in themselves.
